For Family Home Evening, my wife did a great lesson on baptism. Since my son is getting baptised on Friday, it was very fitting. He is SO excited to become a member of the church. He had his interview with the Bishop, has decided who will be will giving the talks at his baptism, and is counting down the days.
For the lesson, my wife took each letter of the word BAPTISM, and found scriptures and stories that matched. We had a great time talking about what baptism is, why we get baptised, and how it will happen.
I am thankful that our Savior was such a great example. Even He, who was perfect, was baptised as an example for us. I am thankful my son wants to follow his example and be baptised.
